Research from the University of Florida shows that a good night's sleep is the key to a better relationship with your partner.
The researchers asked 68 newly married couples to individually record their satisfaction with their relationship. They also had to keep track of how many hours they slept per day for a week. The study found that candidates who slept more than their usual number of hours of sleep one day were happier with their relationship on that particular day.
Some extra hours of sleep work wonders
Also interesting: the men (unfortunately not the women) were generally more satisfied with their relationship on the days when they got extra sleep, even if they had a discussion or argument with their partner that same day. So: extra sleep doesn't make you forget he didn't do the dishes, but it does make him forgive your tantrum.
