Your eyes are squared off the computer screen and the work drive is just as far away. And have you already read the same sentence four times? Ho, stop! You can counteract your fatigue with these energy boosters:

1. Don't drink coffee in the morning

Caffeine addict? Who not. Still, try to postpone your first coffee of the day until after lunch. Only then will your body produce adenosines - aka substances in your body that cause the after-dinner dip. If you take a cup of coffee at that moment, it works much more effectively than if you slurp it all day long.

2. Make a powershake

If you really want to start well prepared, make a healthy smoothie in the morning (or evening) with a blender or food processor. Toss any kind of fruit you like in the blender and shake! You can also add a cup of low-fat yogurt for a thicker smoothie. But you can also make a delicious power shake from vegetables, for example with carrot, spinach and celery. We bet you will improve right away if you drink this?

3. Massage yourself zen

Taking a few minutes break from work and massaging your scalp can work wonders. It has been scientifically proven that this improves the supply of nutrients from your blood and the waste products. In addition, it gives you increased blood flow, greater mental clarity and therefore: yes, concentration. Walking around or taking a different position can also help. After five minutes sitting cross-legged on your office chair, you're ready to go!
