You probably know it. You go on vacation and on the way to the airport you already get itchy things. But first sit for hours in a chair with limited legroom in a deafening noise. AIR New Zealand has found a solution for this. Air travelers will soon be able to take an extensive nap in a quiet sleeping cabin.© Air New Zealand
The Economy Skynest consists of around six sleeping places per capsule, with beds two meters long and 58 cm wide. In addition to fresh sheets, the cabin is equipped with curtains and earplugs. A USB charger and reading lamp may also be added shortly.
Earlier, the same airline designed the Skycouch - A row of three seats that you can transform into a couch.
It's not yet certain when the cabs will be available, where they will be on the aircraft and how much more they will cost.
