You have successfully applied two layers of nail polish without leaving your cuticles underneath. You only have to sit still long enough for it to dry. But if emails have to be sent and photos have to be posted, you can't afford to wait that long. Therefore a few hacks that will make your nail polish dry faster.
1. A blowout for your mani
Your hair dryer has more benefits than you think. It is probably the most effective way to dry nails quickly. Hot air prevents hardening of your nail polish. So put your hair dryer in the coldest position and dry your nails for about two minutes. Then carefully tap the paint to see if it is still sticky. Otherwise, add an extra minute.
2. Cold water
We know that cold air speeds up the process. But that also applies to cold water. Immerse your freshly painted nails in a bowl of cold water. Wait at least one minute after painting before you do this so that the nail polish can be withdrawn. Two minutes in the cold water is enough to get your nails completely dry.
3. Invest in a quick-drying nail polish
Trade in your usual topcoat for a quick-drying version. A topcoat not only protects your nail polish but also ensures that you can continue quickly. Almost all nail polish brands have a number of quick-drying variants in their collection.
