Some couples shout their love from the rooftops, on social media. All followers can follow the milestones online. Are they going to live together? You read it first on Facebook. Is she expecting? Science says that happy couples do not have to seek confirmation from their online friends. Moreover, if the number of likes influences your state of mind, it would not be particularly beneficial for your state of happiness. According to the research, it would override a sense of insecurity.
Couples who don't show their relationship so prominently on social media, therefore, appear to be a lot happier. People with a happy relationship have enough to each other and know what they can do to each other. They do not need confirmation from outside that they are doing well together. So put it in your pocket!
