There are a few small styling tricks that make every outfit look more attractive. Whether it's about adding a belt for your jeans or wearing certain fabrics that look 'expensive', but that you have bought for a reasonable price. Keep reading to find out how you can create a luxurious looking look with affordable pieces.

1. Add a belt

Add a belt to your favorite trousers or jeans, or think outside the box and center your waist with a hip belt. Despite their "boring" reputation, belts can do wonders for your outfit. A belt looks like you've spent a lot more on your outfit than you actually did.

2. Go for a monochrome outfit

Monochrome combinations, but especially an all-white outfit, automatically look more luxurious. Also try combining it with beige tones.

3. Larger size

Looking 'chic' can be very easy, go for a bigger size. This way you create an oversized look. We do recommend that you try it out with basic items such as blazers, sweaters and pants with a high waist.

4. Silk and satin

Silk and satin fabrics have a luxurious quality, which makes them appear more expensive than they actually are. Use this to your advantage by incorporating a satin skirt, dress or top in your outfit.

5. Knitwear on knitwear

Knitwear is the micro trend that we love the most this fall. They create an ultra-modern outfit without having to spend a lot.

6. Layers

Adding multiple layers is often a well thought out outfit. Right now it's all about building with jackets - a blazer under an overcoat, to be precise.
