I am going on a trip and take ...

Via Instagram we asked you what you definitely want to take on trip. Most of you always take your camera, phone, passport and earphones or headphones with you when you travel. A tip from @thisgirlformthebarrio: bring a scarf for the holy places. @Joanne_bobbink and @maaikeschaap prefer to take a notebook with them to record all their adventures. And then there are the romantic travelers such as @roelfaessen, @ judithfuchs and @robertscherrenburg who prefer to take their partner along.

Â

We especially notice that you go out with a lot of (camera) equipment. But do you actually have enough of the amount of baggage that you can take on the plane?

Â

For the majority it does. "The great thing about traveling is that you don't need much," says @diaryofdi. And let's face it, it's much nicer not to have to carry around with kilos of heavy bags or suitcase. We think it's great that @umbrellatravel has been traveling for 4 months with only hand luggage. Or how about @ankiekoolen who always tries to stay under 4 kilos. Of course it also depends on the destination of your trip and what you intend to do. This way @siemengrim always runs out of space due to its diving equipment.

Â

One or the other

We also had a number of choices for you . First you could choose between what you would rather take with you on a trip: a backpack or a suitcase? With over 63 percent, the majority of you chose a backpack. And if you are forced to choose between a camera and a phone, then 56 percent prefer their camera. After all, you want to be able to record your journey. The last choice we gave you was between a book and an e-reader. Although an e-reader is certainly space-saving, the majority (57 percent) prefer to read an old-fashioned book.
