Of course you and your partner love each other very much, but after a few days in quarantine it might well be that you prefer to stick each other behind the wallpaper. Relationship psychologist Dr. David Blom explains how you can best approach this.
It can go two ways, of course: can we expect a big baby boom or will divorces be filed immediately?
David explains that it's all about how much closeness you can handle as a couple.

Partners between whom things do not always go so smoothly already take automatically spaced. In this way they stay out of the 'problem zone'. For example, you can escape in work or sports. Now that this is no longer possible, it could lead to a crisis.
"But it doesn't have to be that way. Believe it or not, the Corona crisis can also be a great opportunity for your relationship! It is creating much needed space to focus on each other again. I mean, because of all the demands that life places on us, we (too) often forget to pay real attention to each other, "says David.
In short: do loving little things for each other. Scribble each other's back for five minutes a day or make breakfast for the other.
"If you don't mind all this and still prefer to avoid your partner, then consider seriously quarantining your neighbors!"
