With its blue sea, fine sandy beaches, the old town and plenty of hip tents for coffee, juices and good food, Ibiza is an island where holiday makers like to stay. You would therefore think that all places on the island have already been discovered, but nothing could be further from the truth. There are still undiscovered places on Ibiza where you can enjoy unspoilt nature and tranquility.

The hidden Atlantis, even if you know the way

Locals keep silent about Atlantis, the hidden part of Ibiza that is even difficult to find if you know where it is around. This is because it is still unspoilt and very quiet. It is a place full of rocks, some partly sunk in the sea. The boulders of Atlantis used to be used to build Ibiza town, now small bays have been created where you can enjoy poodle in the water. You can find Atlantis by navigating to Sa Pedrera via a dirt road to a parking lot. Furthermore, you do not come by car, so you have to walk on foot. The road is steep, difficult to walk and long. So know what you are starting, because you will have to go up again someday. If you come across circles made of stones (hippies seem to hold ceremonies here), then you are on the right track. Go further down until Atlantis appears at your feet ...

Aigua Blanques, favorite among the locals

This place is also difficult to reach and therefore relatively quiet, especially on the left side of the beach, beyond the rocks. Locals in particular like to come to this golden sandy beach in the northeast of the island. Aigua Blanques is officially a nudist beach, but you can certainly wear bathing suits. Early in the morning you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise here and the underwater world is also very beautiful. Rub in with the mud from the cliffs, this appears to be very healthy for your skin. You can only reach Aigua Blanques by car: head towards Cala San Vicente until you come across a sign that indicates Aigua Blanques. Turn right onto the dirt road and park at the indicated location. Then walk along a path and climb the hidden beach.

Cala Xuclar, for the typical Ibiza feeling

Not many people know this green place, except for some locals, almost undiscovered! Cala Xuclar is a breathtakingly beautiful small bay with shallow, crystal clear water, hidden among high rocks. Along the water are some fishing huts, but there is nothing else to do or find here. In the summer you can order a fresh fish from the only beach bar on the beach and with a cool drink and your feet in the water that is all you need. You arrive at this undiscovered spot on Ibiza by driving towards Portinatx and taking the Cala Xuclar exit where you will arrive at the bay via a very steep road.
