Whether you want to participate in a marathon, maintain your fitness or want to get started for the first time. We give you five reasons why autumn is the perfect running season.
1. It's coolerAfter a tropical summer the temperatures finally start to fall. The cold wind is very welcome after a few kilometers of running. That means that you can jog to a friend without being completely sweaty.

2. There is still a lot of lightThe nights may be longer, but it is still light until around half past seven and the sun rises again around half past six. Start running now and you'll find it easier to adjust as the days get shorter.
3. There are fewer runnersIf you are a beginner who doesn't want to be overtaken at every turn, this is your chance to go out. Many people give up their running habit in the fall, which means that you can run in peace.
4. Fewer abrasionsThere is nothing worse than abrasions between your legs and at the edges of your bra. Because of the cold weather you will sweat less and the sanding will decrease.
5. WinterbodyFor some, running is a kind of meditation, for others it is a social thing. But for many of us, it's a form of fitness. You can already start working on your winter body so that you will look your best during the Christmas dinner.
