Now that the corona virus is spreading faster, it is wise to leave your shoes outdoors. The corona virus is said to spread quickly through our shoes.

Sole

The virus can survive on the sole of a shoe for up to five days, infectious disease specialists say.

The chance that you carry the virus with you through your shoe is high if you come in public places. Think of public transport, supermarkets or shopping centers.

Culture medium

The sole of a shoe is the perfect culture medium for viruses and bacteria. This is because a sole does not let air, moisture and liquid through. The top of your shoe can also carry the virus, because it can contain respiratory drops from an infected person.

Experts advise that you keep your shoes in the shed, garage or next to the front door. As long as you don't walk through the house with it.
